An injury crisis has again hit the French squad before their clash against Argentina in the World Cup final in Qatar. Some of the players are even the first choice of the team.
France has performed exceptionally in the World Cup, securing their consecutive final appearance after winning the title in 2018. They can even create history by winning 2 World Cup titles in a row, previously done by Brazil in 1962.
However, a major problem has been a headache for the manager Didier Deschamps. Two more players have been added to the injury list of the French players. As per sources, their central defender Raphael Varane and Ibrahima Konate could miss the final clash with Messi’s Argentina.
Two key midfielders, Paul Pogba and Ngolo Kante were named out of the squad before even the Wolrd Cup began, followed by Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema being ruled out of the team.
And even in the semi-final clash against Morocco, Dayot Upamecano and Adrien Rabiot missed due to illness.
