As usual, the former manager of United, Sir Alex Ferguson was there in the stands to show his support for the club against their biggest rivals.
However, the day is not worth remembering for SAF as his team was thrashed by City. thanks to a hat trick from Foden and their newly signed striker Erling Haaland. Though United tried to make comeback with Antony’s goal and Martial’s brace in the second half, that was not enough to be back.
Throughout the match, the cameraman pointed toward Ferguson whenever City got the goals and his reaction to his team losing was showing his frustration. The former manager was seen getting disappointed every time he was seen in the camera.
Some fans were even seen leaving the stadium before the first half.
